Brain Food for Breakfast

Some would hold that gender quota legislation took Norwegian women on a fast track to the board room. But while women have claimed their board room chairs and hold strong positions in political parties, government, NGOs etc., the number of female top managers in the Norwegian corporate world remains depressingly low. We would like to move beyond the debate about glass ceilings and sticky floors, and challenge the BoDs and CEOs: What can you do to increase the number of female top managers?

"Our belief is that, as more women join boards without the imposition of quotas, the more they can demonstrate the value they can add. By the time we get to 30%, the system will be self-perpetuating.” Helena Morrissey, CEO Newton Investment Management

"Tomorrow’s Global Leaders brings a fresh perspective, challenges our preconceptions around meritocracy and offers the opportunity to participate in the development of new solutions." Lady Susan Rice CBE, Managing Director, Lloyds Banking Group Scotland
