Welcome to the Post Davos Nordic Summit, 16 February 2015

We are delighted to invite you to the fifth annual Post Davos Nordic Summit on Monday 16 February 2015, at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm (Vinterträdgården, Royal entrance, Stallgatan).

Organised by PwC in association with the World Economic Forum, the Summit, initiated to promote the Nordic region’s competitiveness, will once again unite a select group of 100 of the region’s leading CEOs, chairmen and senior politicians, as well as speakers from around the world. Since its inception five years ago, the Summit has become one of the most prestigious gatherings of business leaders in the Nordic region.

The theme of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2015 is: “The New Global Context”, and we will build our Summit around this theme.

We are pleased to announce that Madeleine Albright, Former United States Secretary of State, will be our keynote speaker.

To inspire discussion we will have:

  • World Economic Forum Remarks from Espen Eide, Managing Director, World Economic Forum and Dennis Nally, Global Chairman, PwC.
  • A Prime Minister of a Nordic country who will discuss contemporary issues faced by Nordic business leaders.
  • Geopolitical Uncertainty - A Key Component in Corporate Decision Making: Introduced by Carl Bildt, Former Foreign Minister of Sweden and Former Prime Minister of Sweden, this session will look into the importance of geopolitical uncertainty in corporate decision-making and the effect that crises and the associated political decisions can have on businesses.

Mishal Husain, the distinguished BBC News Presenter, will moderate the Summit.

The Summit will start at 15:00 (registration from 14:00) and conclude with a networking buffet reception from 19:30.

Attendance at the Summit is by personal invitation only. In anticipation of high interest in the event, you are encouraged to RSVP as soon as possible.

Please register here, where you will also find more information about the Summit. Please note that this invitation may not be forwarded.

If you have any questions, please contact Agnetha Hansson, (+46709293020).

We hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be a stimulating, highly constructive and enjoyable event.

Yours sincerely,

Summit Chair
